The nursing department requires that the infusion tube should be connected directly with the indwelling needle, but the needle should not be connected at the heparin cap. But how to keep the heparin cap unloaded during infusion?
Reminder: There is no need to remove the heparin cap during infusion. If the heparin cap is removed, it does not need to be preserved, and it needs to be replaced. Infusion attachments are potentially dangerous for contamination and loosening. As shown on the left of the figure above, the interface between the infusion device and the indwelling needle is easily detached.
